ABOUT ROSE:

Rose Garcia is a lawyer turned writer who's always been fascinated by science fiction and fantasy. From a very young age, she often had her nose buried in books about other-worlds, fantastical creatures, and life and death situations. More recently she's been intrigued by a blend of science fiction and reality, and the idea that some supernatural events are, indeed, very real. Fueled by her imagination, she created The Transhuman Chronicles--a series of books about people who have overcome human limitations.

Rose lives in Houston with her husband and two kids. You can visit Rose at www.rosegarciabooks.com

REVIEW:

So, this is going to be a short review, because I can't talk very much about this book without giving spoilers, and I don't want that.

It was like I was expecting and not. I mean, there are some things that happened and I enjoyed, and I thought that they were original and played nice in the story, but also, there were some parts that felt repetitive or too much drama. I don't have something against daily life or parties or adolescents' lifes. But I felt that, that part took too much attention the book compared with the main idea, with the main plot.

Plus, I couldn't connect with the characters, especially with Dominique, and this is kind of a turn off for me. And I had the feeling that at some point existed a triangle and I didn't like that. At all. And hopefully it was just a temporary thing. And also, can I say how D's parrents seemed form outer space? I mean their excuses and motives? Really?

To be honest from the all book I enjoyed the idea and the descriptions and some things that happened, but I wanted more, more action. And not just... YA. If you know what I'm sayin. All in all it was fun and very easy to read, but nothing memorable.
