REVIEW:

I read Calling California months ago and even if I didn't enjoy it too much, I said it must be fair to give another chance to this author and read this novel.

It was better than the first one and I enjoyed it more, but I can't say that it kept me captivated for the whole story and sometimes I couldn't connect really well with the character. Plus, maybe I wanted more of a original take than the usual romance thing and love/hate, you know.

I don't say that weren't good things in this novel or that I disliked the characters, the whole plot or that wasn't good, but I wanted more from everyone and everything. If you think of this as a New Adult novel then is very good, but if you think of it as a novel then it doesn't have many things to offer.

Maybe I'm hard to please and maybe I want more from the books that I read because I read a ton of genres and not just Romance and New adult, so my desires are many are different. But if you're not like me and you just love New Adult then maybe this will be perfect for you.
